Porn Stars Need Love Too!

Beside the fact that 2016 kinda sucked in the sense of politics and the death of many great celebraties, my personal life was freaking awesome. So I figured I’d start the New Year with my last awesome adventure….

I ventured into foreign territory *New Jersey* for Exxxotica 2016. My inner pervert has been so suppressed for a bit so I was extremely excited to go. Walking in I had no clue what to expect and the first thing I saw was ass.
Cheeks & Boobs Everywhere!!!! Web cam girls were the first thing you saw.

Upon going futher  into the rabbit whole you seen porn stars to the left and right, booths with with sex toys and lots of people. Hundreds of people both man and woman came out to see their virtual fornication lovers.
I even noticed a few faces I’ve seen in my home town and a coworker lol.  Sadly because I only know of porn my friends share with me, I don’t really know any porn star but there were some faces I recognized from what was shared. One of my hightlight was the dungon. There was suspension, whips, chains, feathers, spin wheels and my new favorite flogging.

I was a little shy at first but reading Fifty Shades of Grey mad me very curious. I enjoy it very much. I wanted to donit again but the line was to long *sad face*. There was also a panels, sex workshops, a sexy fashion show, BBW twerk contest and some other random goodies.

I really had a great time and everyone who watched my snapchat have a very good time too. Oh and there was a awesome gift bag by Bad Dragon  that have 3 cute and tiny small dragon shaped penises. I honestly wished they were life size but I digress…

I will definitely be returning next year. After attending Exxxotica I have more of an appropriations for porn stars. With just the naked eye all we see is women (and men)

who have lots of sex for our entertainment. The main difference between us and them* in my eyes* is that we know who they slept with.

They work out hard as hell sexually  and physically to keep in shape. They run businesses, take care of loved ones, and everything else the makes them human. So what if there job is different from the typical 9 to 5, doesn’t mean they don’t need love.
And with that said enjoy the pics and as usual check out the snapchat :In_attendance and the instagram

In The MoonLight

Courtesy of BE@T & OUT I had the chance to to experience an advanced screening and Q&A of the movie Moonlight. Originally a screen play written by Tarell Alvin McCraney, it was a deep ass movie.20161018_2019571 This film was originally brought to my attention as a moive about gay men via Facebook but it is way more than just that. This movie is relatable to everyone whether you classify as straight, gay, trans, confused etc… I saw different parts of myself (mentally & emotionally) in each sequence of the main characters evolution.20161018_2020061 I wont provide any spoilers but I will say it is differently worth watching. During the Q&A the director Berry Jenkins and Tarell gave us a bit of insight on filming in the different locations of Miami which have appeared in many music videos. They also mentioned *if im correct* that they filmed all of Naomi Harris’s scenes in three days.20161018_2023051 The story itself is base of real life events of both director and writer and they  were in the same school at one point and never crossed paths until a mutual friend introduced them some years ago. I think it was a sign from the universe bringing them together just for this. I plan on watching again this time bringing a friend to join me. I encourage everyone to start/continue to support indie movies. I personally complain about movie remakes having these huge budgets with horrible story when that money could be used to fund independent films with new, courageous and thought provoking stories. Plus a lot of big stars act in indie films in roles you would really be surprised about…..20161018_2019501SO GO OUT AND SUPPORT!!!

Such A Ball!!!

Kotaku and io9 held their first Cosplay Ball in New York presented by Drangon Ball Xenoverse 2.20161006_195650 I was uber excited to go but sadly lacked in cosplay get up because I am such a procrastinator. Come On In

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that there is not an open door for you in New York City because they’re always is.Whether it’s a restaurant, clothing store or a bar, the door is always open especially with galleries. Coming upon Highland Park walking past a building full of windows with the door wide open was the Allouche Gallery. What caught my eye was a huge sculpture by Faile standing in the window *it kind of reminded me of Alison in Wonderland with a skateboard* and I thought to myself how could I not going in.

Fantasy Island by FAILE

There were so many cool and thought provoking pieces I couldn’t help but take pictures of almost everything. So if by chance you ever come up on a building with a cool peace of anything in the window is the door open walk on in. I shall continue to welcome this open door policy by  walking into any door that’s open. Hopefully I’ll end up in a celebrities apartment LMAO!!!!

So if you have some free time stop Allouche Gallery their door is open til 7pm!

Almost 29 Rooms

.About 5 hours….that’s how long we: me and the hundreds of ppl waited to get into Refinery 29’s 29Rooms. 29Rooms is an art & fashion fun house made up with celebrity collaborations steaming from topics of beauty, music, the environment, etc; with each room carrying a different theme. The doors opened at 11am and I got there at 12. I already knew I was going to wait about 2 hour to get it but that was a mental understatement. The line wrapped around the building in a loop and just like every pop-up experience I kept telling myself with the sun beating down on body, the motto: YOLO! Literally about 30 mins from the entrance I was giving a scratch card to hopefully skip the line. Sure enough, blessed from the heavens and foot gods below it was the winning card. Extremely excited I gather the people around me who I chatted with for the 5 hours to skip the line and race inside….”WE MADE IT!!!!” We all screamed & took celebratory pics but once we entered I caught a glimpse of something as I  stared into the main hall…MORE FUCKING LINES!!! dsc_47941

To be honest it wasn’t that bad but it’s just the freaking principal!!!  Now the main question of this entire experience: Was it worth it?
Yes: because I met some really cool people, 29Rooms was definitely something to be seen and I can say I went & never have to go again & No: because after all of it I didn’t get to see all 29 rooms because of more fucking lines and the memory magically got misplaced after  that so I could post when I wanted  but I found it. So here are the rooms I made it to…Enjoy!!!

Milk. Sugar. Ice.

Pop Up anythings are awesome but even more so when it involves icecream. Visiting New York is the pop up Museum of Icecream. This was on of the hardest to get a ticket too. dsc_3760When I first found about it and checked the site to get a ticket they weren’t for sale yet. So I checked the week it was supposed to open and it was SOLD OUT!!! Everyday, everytime for the whole summer. dsc_3788Gladly I signed up for the news letter so when they extended their stay jumped at the chance. In the process the damn website crashed on me like 8 times before I was able to snatch my ticket up. It was such a cute & tasty little museum. Right upon entering they give you icecream. Just a few steps away, you receive what I call a “sugar bubble” filled with helium. dsc_3768You can suck   in all the helium for the funny voice and eat the collapsed bubble if you want. They actually had fun facts and information about icecream, high headed from inhaling the helium I took pictures of it to read later. One of the coolest things there was the pool full of sprinkles.dsc_3781 Well not real sprinkles (that would have been unsanitary) but a pool full of soft color plastic that looked like the real thing. It was really fun to play in and you kind of sunk into it. dsc_3793Once out of the pool you were giving  a miracle berry tablet that when eaten turns all sour foods sweet. They gave use a lemon with our icecream to test it out and if definitely didn’t disappoint.dsc_3799

As per usual stay tuned to the IG @in_attendance & SC: inattendance  Enjoy!!!!

Afropunk 2016 : Day 2

Going back to Afropunk with a new frame of mind made me enjoy it way more than I did the day before. I embraced all that it had to offer. I stood for a second watching the people but this time not in aww but happy  that I got the chance to witness it all. Happy at seeing all the diversity of people.dsc_4678.jpg Happy to know that everyone was welcomed with know questions asked.Still slightly  in aww by the people and their way of dress, with camera in hand I forced myself to pay attention to the music. Before taking in the first performance of the day there was a dance pretty. As the music played the people came.dsc_4656.jpg What started as a small group quickly became half of the parks field being taking up by moving bodies. Dances circles formed.People cheering on strangers and friends who stepped in the center to show their moves.dsc_4675.jpg It was all such a beautiful thing Now on the the MUSIC! Armed with camera in hand my first performance of the day was Angel Haze. She got BARS!!!  It was my first time seeing her perform and I glad I got the chance wit witness her in action. After checking out the tricycle races again I made my way to the gold stage. Somehow the day before I didn’t know it existed but I decided to stay there for the rest of the day and I was glad I did. The next artist I caught was Gallant.HE SANG HIS ASS OFF!!! I was giving me bits of 90s r&b and Prince. Anyone who  gives you bits of Prince in their on original way is a keeper. I was definitely googling him the next day for more. Once his performance  was done I slowly squeezed my way towards the front and Dj Esta began playing. Boy Oh Boy!!!  If there could have been a roof that he could hypothetically tear off, he did the damn thing. Not one soul near the gold stage wasn’t dancing.DSC_4711 Playing a mixture of 90s classics, trap remixes and all thing in between….He was unstoppable. Next up was my newly discovered fav Kelela. She gave so much soul. The group of ladies I was standing next to me knew every word the pretty much every song she sang. She has so many levels to her voice  it was amazing. Her song “Send Me Out” was stuck in head *in a good way* even after I listened to it.dsc_47241 The nights main attraction for me was The Internet. We  were all sooooooo excited to see them live. The crowd swayed together and sang together. Tyler the Creator was in the cut singing along enjoy himself too .We didn’t want it to end, so much so that the crowd started to scream  Encore! dsc_48031

Sadly it didn’t happen but we can always try right.

Stay Tune in to the Snapchat & IG  because its the  time again…. New York Fashion Week!
