Don’t ever let anyone tell you that there is not an open door for you in New York City because they’re always is.Whether it’s a restaurant, clothing store or a bar, the door is always open especially with galleries. Coming upon Highland Park walking past a building full of windows with the door wide open was the Allouche Gallery. What caught my eye was a huge sculpture by Faile standing in the window *it kind of reminded me of Alison in Wonderland with a skateboard* and I thought to myself how could I not going in.
There were so many cool and thought provoking pieces I couldn’t help but take pictures of almost everything. So if by chance you ever come up on a building with a cool peace of anything in the window is the door open walk on in. I shall continue to welcome this open door policy by walking into any door that’s open. Hopefully I’ll end up in a celebrities apartment LMAO!!!!

Happy Easter!!! or at least it was lol I ventured onto the streets to discover the amazing Easter Parade (very loose with the parade word). It was basically the shutting down of 49st to 57st on with 5th Ave to let the beauty of colorful, elegant, creative and extravagantly made hats. There were hundreds of people out dressed in their Sundays best walking in either direction taking loads pictures and gazing at this years hat master pieces. I will say it was definitely worth forcefully waking myself up outta my drunken stupor to attend. I even want to show my creative skills and make my own hat to parade with down the streets for next year.Wish me with that luck guys. You can find some more awesome creations HERE .

Have you ever done something that made you feel like a grown up or do something of what you think an “older” person would do. Well courtesy of the mayor (THANKS BLASIO!!!) all New York Residence have the option of getting something called an NYC ID which grants you access to museums, social events, discounts and all types of cool stuff. My lovely Ride or Die & I went to the much glorified MoMa. With ID’s in hand we now had unlimited access into the museum as well as a year long membership all for free!!! Fancy Adult Stuff Huh? It was our first time at MoMa so we were extremely excited. Not knowing what to expect, we went through multiple open doors, up and down escalators, walked many halls and turned secret corners and found some pretty cool stuff. We were able to see many pieces by famous artist such as Picasso, Andy Worhol, Kara Walker and Henri Matisse. Two areas of the museum stuck out to me the most. One was a 2 wall filled video game which required you to turn back and forth to see as your progressed through each leave. The other was a room with a movie theater screen with an extremely bright life behind it . Now there was much meaning to this peace but it was by pass because it was the best light to take selfies in…Yeah I know it’s sad but I’m honest. We spent almost 15 mins in there just taking pics of ourselves and then posting to social media. Overall I was a fun experience and I an looking forward to the next museum we come up.
Pics of some entertaining pieces are below and as always check the Snapchat ☺
